Description

One of the reasons a high rise bridge design was selected to replace the aging, iconic Surf City Swing Bridge was to allow boat traffic to freely pass. This image shows the nearly completed new bridge along with the Swing Bridge which has just put down its gates to stop traffic in order to open to allow a large vessel to pass through.
